Our experiment, which tested the effects of different SPF sunscreens on the growth of mutated yeast cells, worked. The 15 SPF sunscreen and the 50 SPF sunscreen both only protected the mutated yeast cells a little, and allowed for only a little more growth than the control sides. However, the 100 SPF sunscreen protected the mutated yeast cells significantly more than the control side, and allowed for more growth.
